      We are pleased to invite your team to apply to the East Tennessee Fall Classic! This tournament is a perfect season-ending tournament for your team.  Early November is a wonderful time to play soccer in East Tennessee.  The average high in the Knoxville area during this time of the year is in the 60s.

      THE U-13 and U-14 AGE GROUPS WILL BE PLAYED ON ARTIFICIAL TURF FIELDS AND WILL PLAY A ROUND-ROBIN SHOWCASE FORMAT.  OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE 4 OR 6 TEAMS IN EACH DIVISION TO HELP MAKE THIS FORMAT WORK WELL.  THE FORMAT FOR DIVISIONS IN YOUNGER AGE GROUP WILL  DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF TEAMS IN EACH DIVISION.  

      We offer one of the most team-friendly tournaments that you could possibly find.  Our fees are very reasonable for a competitive soccer tournament, and Knoxville and Blount County have some of the most convenient and affordable lodging that you will find for a tournament.  We also offer a reasonable refund policy in the case of tournament cancellation.

      IF YOU ARE A COACH WITH TWO TEAMS, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO AVOID COACHING CONFLICTS.  IF YOU ARE A COACH WITH TWO TEAMS PLAYING AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO AVOID CONFLICTS FOR THOSE TEAMS BUT WE CANNOT GUARANTY THAT WE CAN DO SO.  ALL TEAMS SHOULD ARRANGE FOR AN ALTERNATE COACH TO BE AVAILABLE DUE TO CONFLICTS AND SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT SUCH ALTERNATE COACH IS SHOWN ON YOUR ROSTER.

      Our tournament is a cooperative effort between Blount United Soccer Club and the Knoxville Football Club, two of the oldest and most respected Clubs in East Tennessee.  Our Clubs are pooling their resources to sponsor a great tournament experience.

    • U15 GIRLS GAP TEAMS WITH 8TH GRADERS/U8 TEAMS
      U15 GIRLS TEAMS CONSISTING OF 8TH GRADERS WHO ARE NOT PLAYING HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER SHOULD REGISTER FOR THE U14 GIRLS DIVISION.  U14 GIRLS TEAMS MAY ALSO INCLUDE U15 GIRLS WHO ARE NOT PLAYING HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER ON THEIR ROSTERS.  U8 TEAMS MAY REGISTER IN THE U9 DIVISION.

    • Notes on Scheduling
      Local teams (within 45 minutes of the applicable field) may be asked to play a game on Friday evening in the U-13 and U-14 brackets if needed to complete a bracket during the weekend.  In such a case, the teams requested to play on Friday shall be given at least one weeks' notice of a Friday game.  We will use our best efforts to schedule teams that are traveling more than 45 minutes but less than two hours a start time after 10 a.m. for their first game on Saturday so that those teams will not be required to incur the cost of two nights' lodging. We cannot guarantee a late game, however, because it is not possible to predict how many teams will fit in this category.
    • Age Group Locations

      U-9 through U-12 games are expected to be played at Vulcan Park in Maryville.  U-13 and U-14 are expected to be scheduled on artificial turf fields at Emerald Youth Sport's Sansom Sports Complex in Knoxville with some games at Mayor Bob Leonard Park on Watt Road in Farragut.  Precise locations for games will be provided once brackets are finalized.  We will try to get have as many games for a bracket at one location as is possible.
