Born in Nottingham, England, Lyon came to the U.S. in 2004 with Major League Soccer Camps to join the coaching staff of the NY/NJ Metrostars in their youth development program. He moved to Tullahoma in 2006, and besides his Motlow coaching duties, he is the Director of Coaching for Camp Forest FC, a select soccer club.

Andy holds a USSF B coaching license and a USSF national youth license and an NSCAA Director of Coaching diploma. Soccer in College gave me a good point of reference for perspective coaches, somewhere I could direct them to see all of my data, in a well-organized, efficient manner. It was a good tool for my recruiting efforts.
